Senior Software Engineer with 15+ years of experience building production software, with a background in Python and Django and more recent work in Go, AWS, and event-driven systems.

I've worked on everything from Django APIs and e-commerce systems to microservices, infrastructure, authentication, security, and real-time event processing. Most recently, I worked on a communications platform serving roughly 20,000 customers and 100,000 users, including a Go customer-service API, an AWS Cognito authentication migration, and a call-center system built around FreeSWITCH events and AWS SQS.

I've also worked on security and infrastructure problems throughout my career, including PCI-related payment-card encryption, open-source dependency and vulnerability tooling at Tidelift, audit logging, authentication systems, and AWS infrastructure.

I've been using Python and Go side-by-side for several years, and have also worked extensively with AWS, Terraform, PostgreSQL, React/Javascript/TypeScript, Vue, and Docker/Kubernetes.

I'm generally happiest working on complicated backend and platform problems, but I like being able to work across the stack when the problem calls for it.
