Summary

Closes #1487.

GET /agentmemory/status reported the LLM provider only as "llm" / "noop", and the status page printed that word as the LLM row. The provider is picked by key-detection order (OpenAI → MiniMax → Anthropic → Gemini → OpenRouter), so with several keys set an operator could not tell which client, model and endpoint is billed.

Status now carries provider.route, built from the loaded provider config:

"provider": { "llm": "llm", "route": "openai · deepseek/deepseek-v4.1-flash:floor · openrouter.ai", ... }
  • The endpoint part is only the base URL's host; an unparsable base URL shows as custom base URL, so nothing from the setting is echoed.
  • route is null without an LLM.
  • provider.llm keeps its "llm" / "noop" values, because the viewer and agentmemory status compare against them.
  • The status page's LLM row shows the route.

This touches the same status block as #1497 but at different lines; either can merge first.

Checks

  • test/llm-route.test.ts: provider + model + host, no base URL, unparsable base URL, noop
  • test/status.test.ts: route in the report and on the page, null for noop
  • npm run build, npm run skills:gen, npm run docs:sync, npm run skills:check
  • npm test: 2600 passed, 4 skipped

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Status reports now display the configured LLM provider route, including its host when available. Providers with no configured route are shown as having none.
  • Bug Fixes
    • Invalid base URLs are represented as “custom base URL” rather than exposing the URL.

Status reported the LLM only as "llm" or "noop", and the status page printed
that word as the LLM row. The provider is chosen by key-detection order, so
with several keys set an operator could not see which client, model and
endpoint is in use. Add provider.route ("openai · <model> · openrouter.ai")
and show it on the page. provider.llm keeps its values for the viewer and CLI.

Resolved: merged main into the branch. Only the generated stats files conflicted; I took main's copies and re-ran npm run docs:sync. Build, skills:check and the full suite (2,788 tests) pass locally, and CI is green.
