The Prisma Postgres overview introduces the database and how to connect to it.

Changes

  • A new second paragraph says Prisma Postgres autoscales, with no instance to size or upgrade, and that you pay per operation. The overview said nothing about sizing or scaling, a question people ask before they pick a managed Postgres.
  • The same paragraph says what a coding agent can do through the Prisma MCP server (create databases, change the schema, run SQL, restore a backup into a new database) and links to the MCP server page.

Checks

  • Claims check on the diff: no claim beyond the sources above.
  • Link target /ai/tools/mcp-server exists (apps/docs/content/docs/ai/tools/mcp-server.mdx).

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Updated the Prisma Postgres overview to explain that databases scale automatically without requiring instance sizing or upgrades, and that billing is based on operations and storage. The overview also describes how coding agents can use the Prisma MCP server to create databases, change schemas, run SQL, and restore backups into new databases.

Explanation

The title names the docs change to the Prisma Postgres overview, which is the main change in the diff: a new paragraph saying the database autoscales without instance sizing and that agents can perform actions through the MCP server. The title is specific and matches the changeset. It is long at 99 characters, and it names two points, but both are real parts of the change.

⚠️ Unverified finding
Verification ran but could not confirm this finding. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.

Qualify the pricing claim.

The sentence says that customers pay per operation, but the reviewed revision also documents storage charges. This wording can make storage costs appear free. State that Prisma Postgres bills for operations and storage, or link this sentence to the pricing details. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
