Description

Sometimes you just want the temperature. Sometimes you want to see the rest of the day. This adds six flyout views so you can choose what opens from a pinned weather band.

Right-click the band, choose Choose flyout view, open a preview, and select Use this view. Cancel keeps your current choice.

• Choose from Glance, Next few hours, Daily outlook, Daylight arc, Day browser, and Hour inspector.
• The gallery uses square, full-width preview images with a title and subtitle. No radio buttons or extra badges.
• One saved choice applies to every pinned location. Each band keeps its own weather and refresh timer. You don't need to restart or pin anything again.
• Existing installs keep the original card until you choose another view. You can also switch back in settings.
• The compact cards and wider day/hour views share the same weather data. Weather icons stay as emoji, and forecast times use the location's time zone.

The daylight arc shows elapsed time between sunrise and sunset, not the sun's actual elevation. Missing forecast values and sunrise/sunset times show as unavailable. If saving your choice fails, you get an error instead of a success message.

Command Palette still controls the window size and styling. The preview images use sample weather, so they aren't screenshots of the host. The dedicated dock behavior discussed in microsoft/PowerToys#51092 depends on your PowerToys version. This doesn't need an SDK upgrade or private sizing APIs.

Gallery previews have light and dark versions. New picker labels use English until translations are added.
