Moves docs/v1-gap-audit-2026-07-19.md to docs/history/archive/2026-07-19-v1-gap-audit.md and lists it in the archive README as a v1 record. Code comments and immutable migration headers cite its gap L### items, so it stays in the tree instead of being deleted.

Part 1 of the split from #192.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

The 2026-07-19 v1-to-v2 parity audit described v1 behavior; it remains in git history.

Split from #192 to stay under the AI review input limit.

🤖 AI Code Review (two independent reviewers)

_Reviewer responses: codex/ALL claude/ALL _

Status: PASSED — No blocking issues found

All panel claims verified against the base checkout. The review synthesis follows.

Summary

PR #193 is a pure documentation move: docs/v1-gap-audit-2026-07-19.md is renamed byte-identical (100% similarity) into docs/history/archive/ under the archive's dated-slug convention, and a three-line index entry is added to docs/history/archive/README.md. Both panels (claude, codex) independently found no CRITICAL or MAJOR issues across all four lenses; I verified the key claims directly — no tracked file references the old path, the new relative link resolves, and no code, IAM, Terraform, or query logic is touched.

Issues per lens

L2 — Code correctness

No issues (both models agree). I confirmed by grep that nothing in the tree references the old path docs/v1-gap-audit-2026-07-19.md, so no loader, test, or doc-generation step can break. The gap L### citations in code and migrations reference item numbers, not the file path, and the body moved unchanged.

L3 — Security / AWS mutation safety

No issues (both models agree). No AWS-mutating code, IAM policy, workflow, or flag is touched; the ADR-005 FROZEN boundary is unaffected by construction. The moved document was already published under docs/, so no new exposure; the new index line explicitly disclaims current-behavior authority, consistent with docs/CLAUDE.md's rule that historical records cannot override current gates.

L4 — Observability / data-integration correctness

No issues (both models agree). No Steampipe query, CIS check, collector, or AgentCore diagnosis path changes. The claude panel's check that gap-item-numbered test assertions (test_sync_lambda_queries.py) remain consistent is sound since the audit body is byte-identical.

L5 — Docs/ADR consistency

No blocking issues. The rename satisfies docs/CLAUDE.md's moved-document rule (verified: zero inbound references to the old path existed). Three MINOR items, all flagged only by the claude panel; codex found nothing. I verified each:

  • MINOR (in scope, confirmed): docs/history/archive/README.md:3 still describes the directory as "operator-reported observations and their limits," which no longer covers the newly indexed feature-parity audit. A one-word widening of the preamble would keep the folder's self-description accurate. Cosmetic; non-blocking.
  • MINOR (pre-existing, out of diff scope — excluded from the gate): docs/runbooks/v1-decommission.md:6 cites docs/history/v1-v2-gap-audit-2026-07-09.md, which does not exist in this checkout and carries a different date (07-09 vs 07-19). Confirmed, but note tests/structure/test-doc-paths.sh:19 deliberately treats docs/history/ paths as private-upstream citations, so this may be intentional. Worth repointing or annotating in a follow-up, not in this PR's gate.
  • MINOR (informational, confirmed): the new archive link is not machine-verified — the test script skips docs/history/ link targets as private-upstream (line 19/38), and its mention regex (line 20) cannot match two-level docs/history/archive/... paths. I verified the link resolves by hand. A future typo in an archive index entry would pass CI silently; worth knowing, not a defect in this diff.

Suggestions

  1. Widen the archive README preamble (e.g. "dated observations and audits") in this PR or a trivial follow-up so the directory description matches its index.
  2. In a follow-up, either repoint docs/runbooks/v1-decommission.md:6 at docs/history/archive/2026-07-19-v1-gap-audit.md or mark the 2026-07-09 citation explicitly as private-upstream, so readers don't see two differently dated pointers to what appears to be one audit.
  3. Optionally extend tests/structure/test-doc-paths.sh to resolve links whose targets live inside this public tree even under docs/history/, since history/archive/ files are in fact published here.

Verdict

The image manifest lists no images, deletions, or unavailable/omitted entries; both panel cells declared NOT_REQUIRED, matching the manifest.

IMAGE_COVERAGE: NOT_REQUIRED

No CRITICAL or MAJOR findings exist in scope; the only confirmed in-scope finding is a cosmetic MINOR.

Move the v1 gap audit to docs/history/archive instead of deleting it:
code comments and immutable migration headers cite its gap L### items.
The archive README marks it as a v1 record, not current behavior.
