I build things that don't fall apart when you click on them.
I lead enterprise WordPress projects at rtCamp, and the engineers on them. I also co-build rtCamp's open-source WordPress starter stack and handle technical presales.
Senior Software Engineer, Automattic Certified Advanced Professional WordPress Developer, working remotely out of Delhi. Most of my work lives in private client repos, so this profile is quieter than my commit history.
rtCamp's WordPress starter stack, which I co-build:
- plugin-elementary: starter plugin
- theme-elementary: starter block theme
- wp-primitives: the shared PHP layer under both
- wp-tooling: build and scaffolding tooling
Platform migrations. Legacy Django to WordPress VIP for a US medical-education platform: data model, MemberPress + Stripe multi-currency billing, launch and post-live plan.
Internationalisation. Platform-wide WPML conversion: content pipeline, automated translation workflows, and a custom block parser.
Front-end architecture. Designed rtCamp's reusable front-end architecture as Front-end Lead, then co-built its successor, the starter stack above.
LMS engineering. Go-live for an international news/media academy: completion and reminder emails, plus tooling to recover lost course progress.
Performance. Core Web Vitals work on high-traffic media sites: CSS bundling, font and ad-script tuning, deferred rendering, and a CDN asset-delivery setup on a dedicated subdomain.
Developer tooling. A PHPStan CI pipeline and a GitHub to Slack sync action, used across projects.
AI tooling. Internal AI tools for the engineering team.
I write up whatever broke and why at aryanx.in.

- WordPress VIP Go: repo structure, environments, and local dev
- PHPUnit tests for a WordPress plugin, scaffold to first assertion
- Custom Gutenberg blocks: create-block, InnerBlocks, context and patterns
Homelab
- Split horizon DNS, and the day my own domain broke a cron job

- A two node Proxmox cluster, and the quorum problem
More in WordPress and Homelab.
