Link creation, keywords & metadata ▵

Anything changing how a short URL comes into existence: accepted characters, length, case, protocols, or how the long URL and its title are fetched and stored.

Redirection & link behaviour ▵

Anything changing what happens when a short URL is visited: status code, destination, query string handling, or what a visitor gets when the keyword does not exist.

  • 302-Instead - Send a 302 (temporary) redirect instead of 301 (permanent), for sites where shortlinks may change.
  • 302-Instead @timcrockford - A fork of EpicPilgrim's plugin, with some more options.
  • 308-Instead - Send a 308 (permanent) redirect instead of 301 (permanent) so the HTTP method is preserved.
  • 404 If Not Found ☑️ - Give a 404 Not Found if the short URL is not found.
  • Always-302 - A newer alternative to 302-Instead.
  • Append Query String - Appends the query string to a long URL.
  • BaseURL Rewrite - Rewrite short URLs such that they point to alternative (base) URLs.
  • Caching Disabled for Redirects ☑️ - Send no-cache headers with shorturl redirects.

  • Filter Code - Allow to select 3XX Status Code to return per keyword.
