LogAndOrder

Utilities for posting custom telemetry to Azure Log Analytics via the HTTP Data Collector API.

Install

Install-Module LogAndOrder -Scope CurrentUser

Requires PowerShell 5.1+ with access to the PowerShell Gallery.

Use

$env:LA_WORKSPACE_ID = '<workspace-id>'
$env:LA_SHARED_KEY   = '<base64-key>'
$env:LA_LOG_TYPE     = 'MyAppEvent'

Send-LogAnalyticsEvent -Json @{ level = 'INFO'; message = 'hello world' }

Run Get-Help Send-LogAnalyticsEvent -Full for parameters and examples.
