Hey, I'm Noah 👋

Mechatronics @ UWaterloo. I make robots do things, and (usually) the things I meant them to do.

What I've been up to

  • 🛩️ Embedded flight software @ UWARG: Developing firmware drivers to make drones fly
  • 🤖 Perception @ WATonomous: Writing ROS2 code for humanoid robots so they can see
  • 💼 Full stack @ Thames Valley Financial: Building full stack stuff for an fintech insurance company
  • 📱 Co-founded elapse: Deployed an app to make Vex robotics team more efficient at tournaments
  • 🏆 6 years of VEX: Wrote ArkLib, a C++ motion control library. Five straight trips to Worlds, plus Create and Think awards
  • 🧪 Lately: Signapse (clinical ASL translator), Redact (blurs faces in video), AutoFleet (robots that plan around each other), and Signal (an LLM agent simulator)
  • 💡 Currently: Learning embedded (firmware, controls, and electrical)
