ctx.wait_for_callback() is documented as usable, but the latest release is 0.15.1 and production doesn't serve /durable-callbacks yet. The JS SDK guide and the platform docs already carry a "Coming soon" note; this adds the same note here, so the docs site sync (Kong/volcano-docs#129) agrees across pages.

Follow-up: remove the note once 0.16 ships and the hosting release with callbacks is in production.

Docs only; no release.

AI review: no P0-P2 findings

Reviewed de6c250. Run log

This PR only changes docs. It adds a "Coming soon" note to the callback-token section of docs/functions.md, saying that ctx.wait_for_callback() isn't in a published release and that /durable-callbacks isn't served yet. The SDK part of the note is accurate: CHANGELOG.md tops out at 0.15.1, and the feature landed after that release. The risk is minimal.

⚪ P3

  • README.md:391 README still lists ctx.wait_for_callback as available, with no coming-soon note (also reported as: README still lacks the callback availability notice)

Not checked: The AI review read the diff, the code, and the PR's text; it ran no tests or builds and read nothing outside this repository.

  • Whether production really doesn't serve the /durable-callbacks endpoints yet depends on deployed state.
  • Whether the JS SDK guide and the platform docs carry a matching note lives in other repositories (volcano-sdk-js, docs: sync from source repos 2026-10-27 volcano-docs#129).
  • Confirm production still does not serve the documented /durable-callbacks endpoints when this notice is published.

Human review: not needed
