FOS pinned 6.18.38, 21 long-term stable releases behind kernel.org. Verified locally: post-oldconfig configs on 6.18.38 and 6.18.59 differ only by symbols 6.18.59 adds (x64, x86, arm64), so nothing is dropped; linux.patch (VMD) applies with offsets and no fuzz; secureboot-config, pcie-aspm-config, initrd-format and arm64-platform-config pass with -b; QEMU boot of the Latest init reports Kernel version 6.18.59 and gets a DHCP lease.
