From 964702bf8cb3371b8613fdcd646d3aa37a7af36d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Tom Elliott Date: Tue, 27 Oct 2026 08:49:30 -0500 Subject: [PATCH] Bump the kernel to 6.18.59, the current 6.18 LTS release FOS pinned 6.18.38, 21 long-term stable releases behind kernel.org. Verified locally: post-oldconfig configs on 6.18.38 and 6.18.59 differ only by symbols 6.18.59 adds (x64, x86, arm64), so nothing is dropped; linux.patch (VMD) applies with offsets and no fuzz; secureboot-config, pcie-aspm-config, initrd-format and arm64-platform-config pass with -b; QEMU boot of the Latest init reports Kernel version 6.18.59 and gets a DHCP lease.
